These terms and conditions were published in December 2007 and apply to all bookings made thereafter. They form the basis of your contract and you should therefore read them carefully. By using this website, you signify your assent to these terms and conditions. If you do not agree with any part of the following terms and conditions, you must not use this site. In these terms and conditions, “we” and “us” mean Hanotourist Travel Company. The terms “you” and “traveller” (s) are used interchangeably to refer to the person(s) accessing this website. The terms “children” refers to traveler under the age of 12.
Purpose of using this site is only to make legitimate reservations or purchases.
The text, images may not be copied, posted or distributed without the written permission of Hanoitourist, except that you may download, display and print the materials presented on this site for your personal, non-commercial use only.
Hanoitourist may provide notice via an email sent to the email address contained in your user profile or otherwise used to make a booking on this site.
For anyone has been prohibited from using this site, Hanoitourist reserves the right to cancel any or all bookings or any transaction you have made on this site with no liability.
You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account information and your password.
You are resposible for any use of your account by anyone other than you
You are responsible for the login informtion, which are puted in by you.
All terms of Hanoitourist Privacy Policy are incorporated with “TERMS AND CONDITONS”. You make sure that you have read the Hanoitourist Privacy Policy and agree all the terms of the Privacy Policy and this “TERMS AND CONDITONS”.
Hanoitourist may modify the terms and conditions. The use of this site will be conditioned upon the terms and conditions in force at the time of your booking.
1.How to make your reservation?
1.1 Reservations can be made in person or group.
1.2 Some reservations should be made at least 45 days before departure of package tour; minimum 10 days prior to departure of other travel services or indicated in our website.
1.3 When securing your reservation, you must complete the reservation form which must be agreed by the lead traveller or yourself on behalf of your whole party accepting these terms and conditions. The lead traveller or yourself will be responsible for all payments in respect of the booking.
1.4 For the tours are available without a note “request and waiting for availablity of services”, traveller just compllet the booking form and setle the payment.
1.5 For the tailor-made tours or some tours with a note “request and waiting for availablity of services”, when traveller submits the booking form or requests, Hanoitourist Travel Company will send you an email to acknowledge services. The final confirmation will be sent in writing after all necessary procedures are completed and prior to the departure of the traveller. This document is considered as the contract between Hanoitourist and traveller. The traveller must be required to reconfirm these final arrangements with Hanoitourist Travel Company before your departure date.
2. Tour fare
2.1 All quotations are subject to availability of services quoted and are not guaranteed until the booking is confirmed and payment received.
2.2 All quotation which are quoted on the internet are always from the lowest price (the tour fare depends on the group size). If you have any special request, you can contact directly Hanoitourist to be offered and update prices.

Recently Hanoitourist only accept VISA (Credit and Debit), MasterCard (Credit), Dinner Club, JCB (Credit) and American Express (Credit) of any banks.
Card Fees: included in tour price showing in our website.
In case of refund, bank fee on the amount of refund will be born by traveller’s side.
2.3 Accommodation is as specified in the accommodation section of our web sites. All costs are shown in US dollars, unless otherwise stated. We reserve the right to offer alternative accommodation of a similar standard in the case the accommodation operator overbooks their property or for any reason beyond our control.
2.4 Rates for children are based on sharing a room with adults and using existing bedding. Cost for additional bedding and rollaways are available upon request.
2.5 Surcharge will certainly be applied for bookings on special occasions such as: New Year, Chrismas Eve, Tet Holiday etc.
2.6 As group and conference rates are specially contracted rates specific for that particular group, they have different terms and conditions to standard holidays. If you are booking a group or incentive, please ensure that these conditions are explained to you.
3. Child policy
Children between 2 and 12 years of age are granted a 25% discount on transfers, excursions and package tours providing that rooms are shared with two (2) adults without an extra-bed (or 15% discount if they require an extra bed). These discounts are granted for one child per room only. Children requiring their own rooms are charged as adults but get a 30% discount on applicable domestic airfares.
4. Deposit and payment
4.1 Deposit or setled payment means that you have read and accepted terms and conditions quoted on the internet.
4.2 Most of the programmes are required full payment at the time of booking.
4.3 In some cases, Hanoitourist Travel Company requires negociated amount advance deposit to hold booking. The rest of total tour fare must reach Hanoitourist Travel Company 45 days prior to your tour departure date.
4.4 Bookings over New Year and other special occasions such as New Year, Chrismas, National Day require a non refundable deposit and final payment must be made at least 60 days prior.
4.5 Only when all final payment is reached at Accouting Department of Hanoitourist Travel Company or our bank account, the tour voucher or hotel voucher will be issued.
4.6 Any booking which is not deposited by this time will be canceled automatically without notification.
4.7 After commencement of travel, no refund in full or in part will be given for services included in the program, which are not utilized.
5. Cancellation policy
5.1 Cancellation by you
Hanoitourist Travel Company must be informed in writing. Cancellation charges would be effective from the date we receive advice in writing and cancellation charges would apply as follows:

Before 45 days - the amount of the deposit
From 45 days to 15 days - 25% of the total tour / service cost
From 15 days to 07 days - 35% of the total tour / service cost
From 07 days to 02 days (48 hrs) - 50% of the total tour / service cost
From 48 hours to arrival or no show - no refund
For certain hotels, flights, cruises and tours etc., the cancellation may be higher, please contact us for details. Depending on the reason for cancellation, you may be able to reclaim these cancellation fees less any excesses under the terms of your insurance policy. Cancellation charges must however be paid before they can be claimed from insurers. Please note that some airline tickets have a 100% nonrefundable fee.
5.2 Cancellation by us
Packages and other bookings where Hanoitourist Travel Company acts as a principal to the contract. Occasionally it may be necessary to cancel confirmed arrangements. We must reserve the right to do so. However, we will not cancel less than six weeks before departure unless you have failed to make payment in full or we are forced to as a result of circumstances beyond our control. If we are unable to provide the booked travel arrangements, you can either have a refund of all monies paid or accept an offer of alternative travel arrangements of comparable standard from us, if available. If it is necessary to cancel your travel arrangements, compensation will be payable in accordance with clause: Compensation will not be payable if we are forced to cancel or change your travel arrangements in any way for reasons of war, threat of war, riot, civil strike, industrial dispute, terrorist activity, natural or nuclear disaster, fire, adverse weather conditions or other circumstances amounting to force majeure.
6. Travel documents
Prior to confirming your travel arrangements, you should check your Passport and establish that it will remain current for the entire period of your travel.
Certain countries require that your Passport remains valid for a period of up to six months after the date upon which you are scheduled to leave such country. If your Passport expires less than six months after the date you are scheduled to leave such country you may be denied entry to that country.
7. Special Requests and medical proplem
7.1 Special requests - If you have any special requests, please inform us as soon as possible in writing, and preferably at the time of booking. Although we will make every effort to meet any such request, we regret that we cannot guarantee our preferred suppliers will honor the request. Failure to meet such special requests will not be a breach of contract on our part.
7.2 Medical Problems - If you have any medical problem or disability which may effect your chosen travel arrangements you must provide us with full details at the time of booking. We will pass those details on to the relevant suppliers/service providers. However, if we or the service provider feels unable to properly accommodate your particular needs, we/the relevant supplier reserve the right to decline/cancel the booking.
8. Insurance
We strongly recommend that you purchase a comprehensive travel protection plan both for protection against emergencies which may occur, and for your own peace of mind. We can offer excellent travel protection plans, details of which are available on request.
9. Responsebilities
9.1 It is compulsory for travelers to fill in the comment letter on the last day of your trip. If the traveler refuse to do so, any complaints after your trip will be denied and unaccepted.
9.2 Hanoitourist Travel Company is responsible to you in making arrangements for the vacation services offered in this brochure, including transportation, sightseeing, and accommodations. All references to Company include its agents and employees. The carriers, accommodations, and other suppliers providing services are independent contractors and are not agents, employees, or servants of, or joint venturers with, the Company or its affiliates.
9.3 All certificates and other travel documents for services issued by the Company are subject to the terms and conditions specified by the supplier, and to the laws of the countries in which the services are supplied. If, after departure, the services included in the vacation cannot be supplied, or there are changes in an itinerary for reasons beyond the control of the Company, the Company will arrange for the provision of comparable services. Any resulting additional expense will be payable by travellers and any resulting saving will be refunded by the Company to vacation participants.
9.4 Hanoitoursit Travel Company reserves the right to accept or reject any person as a vacation participant, to expel any participant from the vacation, to make changes in the itinerary whenever the Company deems it necessary for the comfort, convenience, or safety of the participants, and to cancel a vacation at any time. The vacation participant agrees that neither the Company nor its affiliates shall be liable for any damage, loss (including personal injury, death, and property loss) or expense occasioned by any act or omission of any supplier providing services, or any insurer or insurance administrator, or of any other person. . No person, other than an authorised representative of the Company, by a document in writing, is authorised to vary, add, or waive any term or condition in this brochure, including any term or condition set forth in the preceding provisions. The terms and conditions of this brochure do not affect the rights you may have as a "consumer" or any other statutory rights that by law may not be excluded or limited.
